The Festival of Lights gets a Hollywood Boulevard celebration on Saturday, November 7, when BIH Events presents Los Angeles Diwali Fest 2026, an all-ages food and music festival at Academy LA from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

An All-Ages Diwali Night in Hollywood

Announced on the BIH Events Instagram, Los Angeles Diwali Fest 2026 is billed as the biggest Indian Diwali cultural festival in Los Angeles, pairing food and music under one roof. The venue is Academy LA at 6021 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90028, a Hollywood club with an expansive main floor, a full kitchen and a palm-lined outdoor patio that rarely gets to host a family crowd.

That all-ages tag is the news here. BIH Events is best known in LA for its Bollywood club nights, including last year's 18+ Diwali Dhamaka at PH Nightclub Hollywood. This year the team is opening the doors to everyone, with an early evening start that works for families.

Timed to the Heart of Diwali Weekend

The date is well chosen. For Los Angeles, the main Lakshmi Puja evening of Diwali falls on Sunday, November 8, 2026, according to Bhakti Angan's Diwali 2026 guide, which puts the festival on the Saturday night right before the biggest night of the five-day holiday.

What We Have Our Eye On

BIH has not published a food vendor lineup yet, so we are holding off on any menu talk until the names are out. What we have our eye on is the food side of the billing: a Diwali festival is one of the best excuses of the year to go looking for sweets, chaat and regional Indian cooking in one place. We will update this post once vendors are announced.

If you cannot wait until November, look back at our coverage of the Indian Food Festival Los Angeles, or book a table at Brick Lane in the Arts District for wood-fired modern Indian. And if Hollywood night markets are your thing, the 101 Night Market runs a Hollywood location too.
