Calling all Los Angeles oenophiles and foodies! If you’ve been hunting for the perfect way to kick off your 2024 social calendar, look no further. The 11th annual Uncorked: LA Wine Festival is taking over the iconic Union Station on Saturday, January 24th, promising an evening of global flavors, gourmet bites, and electric vibes.
Whether you're a sommelier-in-training or just someone who enjoys a casual glass of bubbly, this food event is designed to be the ultimate experience for wine lovers. Here is everything you need to know about the city's favorite wine fest. By the way there should be some great food in Los Angeles there and some amazing food trucks.
A World of Wine (and More)
Get ready to expand your palate with over 100 wines, bubblies, and cocktails from across the globe. Uncorked isn't just about the traditional reds and whites; they are bringing the variety. For those embracing the "damp January" lifestyle or simply pacing themselves, check out the Zero Proof Lounge, featuring delicious non-alcoholic wines, beers, and mocktails.
Gourmet Eats on Wheels
It wouldn't be a true LA event without a stellar lineup of food trucks. You’ll want to come hungry because the culinary roster is stacked. Pair your Pinot with offerings from local favorites, including:
Feisty Fish Poke for fresh, vibrant flavors.
Cerda Vega Tacos for that essential LA street food fix.
Rice Balls of Fire for a fusion kick.
The Deli Doctor and Catered Kitchen for hearty comfort food.
Woody’s Grill and Woodstock Farina for savory classics.
The Vibe
This isn't a stuffy tasting room. Uncorked brings the party to Union Station with live music, two DJs spinning tracks to get you dancing, and even a "sip and play" atmosphere with party games to challenge your friends.
Choose Your Experience
There are three ways to experience Uncorked, depending on how thirsty you are:
VIP ($105): The ultimate treatment. Get in at 5 pm for 4 full hours of tasting. You'll gain access to the exclusive VIP lounge featuring a private DJ, dedicated seating, and premium winery selections not available to the general public.
Early Admission ($85): Beat the crowds with 5 pm entry, giving you access to special pours from select wineries during that golden first hour.
General Admission ($70): Doors open at 6 pm for 3 hours of unlimited tasting from over 50 incredible brands.
(Note: All tickets include beverage tastings; food is sold separately).
Drink for a Cause
Sipping wine tastes even better when you know it's doing good. Uncorked: LA proudly benefits the K9 Youth Alliance. This incredible local nonprofit empowers under-resourced youth and enriches the lives of homeless dogs through the human-animal bond, helping shelter dogs find the happy lives they deserve.
