Philadelphia and Ziggi's Coffee Are Turning the Everything Bagel Into a Latte

Los Angeles has seen plenty of creative beverages, but this one comes with 150 years of breakfast credibility behind it. Philadelphia Cream Cheese, the brand that has been inseparable from the bagel since the 1870s, is making its first ever move into drinks with the Philadelphia Everything Bagel Latte, a one week collaboration with Ziggi's Coffee landing August 11 through 17 at more than 120 participating locations nationwide, including Ziggi's shops across Los Angeles, per the brands' announcement.

The build: an iced latte capped with cream cheese cold foam and a dusting of everything bagel seasoning, which is to say your regular order and your regular breakfast merged into one cup. It is the schmear as a sip, and whether that reads as genius or chaos probably says something about how you feel before your first coffee.

The drink is limited edition and gone after August 17, so the window is genuinely one week. Find your nearest participating shop through the Ziggi's Coffee location finder, and if you make it out for one, tag FJM, we want the field reports.

Caffeinated and curious what else is new?

Catch up on this month's new restaurants in Los Angeles, and keep an eye on our best food in Los Angeles page for the spots worth the drive once the latte's gone.

I hope you're hungry. - Matthew Tropp | FJM.
