Highly Likely officially opened its fourth Los Angeles location at 12401 Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, greeting visitors on itshighlylikely.com with a "Studio City Now Open!" banner. The Studio City Chamber of Commerce publicly announced the launch, and the location is now taking reservations on Resy. Phone: (747) 355-8550.

A Growing Los Angeles All-Day Cafe Group

Highly Likely was founded in 2017 by chef Kat Turner and her partners Cary Mosier, Chelsea Matthews, and Alex Matthews. The group's West Adams flagship built the concept's early following, and Highland Park and Ojai came next. Studio City was on the group's shortlist for expansion for months before the deal came together. That plan has now landed on Ventura Boulevard.

The Studio City spot occupies a Ventura Boulevard address that longtime locals will recognize as the former Lemonade space. The room channels an old-school diner aesthetic, and the menu carries the concept's signature: an all-day format that meaningfully shifts through the hours. The arrival lands in the middle of a busy season for new restaurants in Los Angeles, with the Studio City stretch of Ventura Boulevard leading the pack.

The Studio City House Rules

Two policies signal how the room is meant to work. Hours run Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday until 10, and Sunday to 9. Reservations are available on Resy. The house rule that will stop laptop-and-latte diners at the door: no laptops after 4 p.m., per the restaurant's own site. It is a small editorial choice with an outsized effect on how the evening reads.

What We Have Our Eyes On

The all-day format shifts meaningfully through the hours. What we plan to order across the day:

  • Morning — Japanese breakfast bowls and the house coffee program.

  • Midday — spicy chicken sandwich, house burgers, fish sandwiches, and the waffles that anchor the daytime menu.

  • Evening — the flagship all-day burger, steak frites, and the natural wine list that has been a consistent draw at the group's other locations.

The natural wine program is set up to hold the same reputation the group has built at West Adams, Highland Park, and Ojai. For the full menu and reservations, see itshighlylikely.com.
